Ida Gramcko - Selected Works From: Poemas (1947-1952)

Our chapbook series features works by authors we have published in the past, showcasing a small selection of texts alongside the work of a guest translator. This time, we selected two poems from the book we published in 2026, “Poemas” by Ida Gramcko (1924-1994), and worked with Erika Morillo on its translation into English, making these 100 copies possible. This is the third publication after Vestrini’s French texts and Ossott’s Greece poems.

Thank you to Rafael Castillo Zapata for facilitating his text and Archivo Foto Urbana for letting us reprint a detail of an image of the Cortina Archive. The rest of the images are part of Letra Muerta’s archive, digitized from the National Library and the author’s personal library.
