Analys-Art was a publication by the Unidad de Arte del Centro Interdisciplinary de Investigaciones Teóricas and the Instituto Internacional de Estudios Avanzados by CONAC with essays about art and literature. As part of their editorial board, we can mention intellectuals such as Verónica Jaffe and Yolanda Pantin, Susana Benko, and texts written by authors such as Luis Pérez Orama, María Elena Ramos, José Balza, Rafael Castillo Zapata, Armando Rojas Guardia, Márgara Rusotto, Victoria De Stefano, María Fernanda Palacios and Rafael Cadenas.
The topic of each number varies around: enunciados estéticos, poesía, postmodernidad, crítica del arte y regionalismo.
This publication was designed and directed by Carlos Cruz-Diez (1923-2019) one of the most renowned Venezuelan artists of Latin American kinetic art proliferating the knowledge around chromatic phenomena. Besides being known for his artistic practice, he had a very prolific design work for catalogs, books, book covers, illustrations, etc that is rarely hosted in public institutions.
Eight numbers of offset publications are available. Square spine, saddle bound with flaps printed at Armitano.
